VIDEO: Emtee claps back at his haters from his throne

JOBURG – Emtee releases visuals for Abantu alongside S’Villa and Snymaan.

Taken off his fourth project, DIY2, Emtee has released the video for his track, Abantu, which was dropped in September last year. The song features label mates, S’Villa and Snymaan.

“I would like to thank my team, Ambitiouz Entertainment, S.Villa and Snymaan for being part of the song, and Kreazo for the beat,” Emtee said.

In the song, Emtee shuts down the haters telling them that he will stay winning and evokes similar emotions to his hit single, We Up, the realisation of getting to the top and comprehending not everyone is in your corner.

The video resembles his authenticity as he just decided to call the director of the video, Ted ‘Shae’ Magerman and asked him to shoot a video while he was on his way to an event outside of Johannesburg –  no video vixens or fake lifestyle plus S.Villa and Snymaan compliment the same truth.

The audio has received 153k views on YouTube and has received a great response, including being played over 84 times on the radio in the past four weeks which has reached more than 21.90 million listeners. The 26-year-old said fans have been requesting the video for a long time, and he is thrilled to share it with them.

“I am very excited just as the fans are. I can say that Abantu is one of the songs that supporters love, so the timing is perfect. It is different and it features two of my brothers who I think are very talented,” said Emtee.
