Eskom warns of the possibility of the return of load-shedding
JOBURG - The power utility has advised consumers to use electricity wisely.
State power utility Eskom has warned that the power system is still under constrain, so there is still a probability of load-shedding.
The country was recently gripped by the return of load- shedding on 10 February which lasted for a week.
The power utility is grappling with a financial crisis and the possibility of it splitting into three entities to make it profitable again, as President Cyril Ramaphosa announced in his state of the nation address.
While the power system remains tight tonight, the probability of loadshedding remains possible should we lose additional units. Customers can assist by using electricity sparingly over this period. @CityPowerJhb @City_Ekurhuleni @eThekwiniM @CityTshwane
