Blaque signs exclusive deal with Sony ATV

Electronic music producer and DJ, Blaque, announced that he has signed a new exclusive deal with Sony ATV, the world’s leading music-based entertainment company.

This transition comes after 10 years as a producer, where he was with Soul Candi for three years and in 2011 started his own label, Unconfined Music, and released his debut Fragments in 2016.  Blaque joins the ranks of Sony’s unrivalled artists such as Calvin Harris, Bryson Tiller, Matthew Mole, Beatenberg, The Chainsmokers, and Ella Mai, to name a few.

The producer will partner with Sony to take his career on to new levels including extending his global presence in the publishing space.

“At Unconfined Music, our primary concern is to find talent with the potential to sell records as well as contribute to their growth by aligning them with reputable companies like Sony to ensure that we meet these objectives and empower our artists,” said Unconfined Music, label manager, Claire van Zyl.

Blaque said he was humbled to be part of Sony and was looking forward to the exciting times ahead.

The producer is currently working on his sophomore album, Silhouettes, which is scheduled to be released before winter and features X-Factor SA winner Steven Lee, award-winning Locnville, and many notable names. The release will be followed by a world tour in the USA, Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Greece, Japan, and Spain.
