Metro police K9 unit recovers stolen vehicles

JOBURG – Operation Buya Mthetho recovers stolen vehicles in Joburg CBD and Kew.


Stolen vehicles around Johannesburg were recovered as part of Metro police’s operation Buya Mthetho (bring back law and order).

The operation also involved Metro’s K9 unit. 

The spokesperson for Metro police, Senior Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said the unit recovered a stolen silver Toyota Corolla in Johannesburg CBD on 18 February.

Minnaar added that they also recovered a stolen Toyota Fortuna in Langabile Street, Mofolo in Lenasia and a hijacked silver Corolla was discovered in Kew.
