For the past few months, young rapper and singer Manu Worldstar has been making some serious waves on the local music scene following the release of his smooth and melodic single, Nalingi. The song has officially reached 1 million streams
In the song, the singer takes us back to a time where singers serenaded and appreciated women through their music as he professes his love and admiration for a special woman in his life.
Nalingi has gone on to be one of the biggest songs in South Africa so far this year, occupying top positions on local radio stations such as Metro FM, 5FM, YFM, and Gagasi FM, as well as getting airplay on Nigeria’s The Beat FM, Botswana’s Yarona FM and BBC Radio 1 Xtra.
Manu Worldstar initially released the visuals for the hit single exclusively on Trace TV but has since released the highly acclaimed Kuda Jemba-directed video online which has surpassed 200 000 views.
