Trap music’s forerunners set to rage at Young and Infamous

JOBURG – Patrickxxlee, Champagne69 and 45 Degrees to rage trap music at Young and Infamous.

Red Bull Music Presents: Young & Infamous, taking place on the first Saturday of March, will see PatricKxxLee, Uncle Partytime, Gator and Champagne69 celebrate the trap music movement.

The music show held in the city celebrates the culture around trap music and ragers. The event will see 12 of Johannesburg’s best trap and hip-hop talent perform at the Alex Theatre in Braamfontein.

The line-up includes DJs Sean Kross, Uncle Partytime as well as thrash punk band which was started by the members of Skate Society Fam, TCIYF. International rapper, Gator, who has amassed 126 000 streams online will bring his energy-fuelled performance to the stage as well as Construction Boyz, Will Cardiac, and style rap phenoms 45 Degrees and Windows 2000.

Zambian-born rapper and producer PatricKxxLee who is known for his punk trap style completes the line-up with Espiquet, Lethabo Ascid and Champagne69.

Doors open at 5pm and is free to attend.
