ALERT: City Power plans power interruption for Rosebank suburbs on 1 March

ROSEBANK – The planned power interruption is scheduled to take place from 8am to 4pm on 1 March.


Residents are warned of an urgent planned power interruption that will take place from 8am to 4pm on 1 March.

In a statement, City Power, who issued the notice of the power interruption, said that the planned power interruption was necessary so that essential maintenance work on their network could be done. This is said to be part of their programme of constantly striving to supply better and improved electricity service to residents.

Affected areas include Craighall Park, Parkhurst, Parktown North, Greenside and Parkview.

The power supply may be restored at anytime on 1 March, and, City Power is appealing to its customers to treat their electricity supply as live at all times.
