The next generation of comedians to watch out for this year

JOBURG – Tsitsi Chiumya and Prins join Mzansi’s finest comedic talent at JICF.

With the Johannesburg International Comedy Festival (JICF) slated to take place between 14–17 March at The Joburg Theatre, Joburgers will get to experience the next generation of comedians to watch out for this year.

The festival features an exhilarating group of fresh comedic minds, a list that includes Tsitsi Chiumya, a  25-year-old from Limpopo who has made ripples across the globe alongside the Eastern Cape-born comedian formally and informally known as ‘Prins’, who is one of the hottest breakthrough comedians in the country.

The two are easily the funniest pair currently on the circuit and are grabbing headlines wherever they play and are joined by Dane Baptiste, Daliso Chaponda, and Ali Al Sayed. The guest comedians will be joined by Mzansi’s finest talents such as Loyiso Gola, John Vlismas, Tumi Morake, Conrad Koch and Chester Missing, Kagiso Lediga, Schalk Bezuidenhout and KG Mokgadi. More international and local acts are to be confirmed over the next few weeks.
