The community is encouraged to share the love this Valentine’s Day by donating blood at SANBS Craighall at the Colony Shopping Centre.
Bond Gallery is assisting to promote the drive by encouraging estate agents to donate blood and make a difference through this initiative.
Clinic supervisor at the Colony Donor Centre Sihle Ngcobo said, “It has been part of our strategy for the year to increase our donors and extend our parameters to get more people from the community involved. This is a business and residential area, which is strategic for us.”
Donors will also receive a Valentine’s Day gift when they donate, providing an added bonus for donors.
Bond consultant at Bond Gallery Danica van Tonder said,
“Blood levels are very low. Donating blood saves lives. People show love and care when they donate blood and for that reason, we chose Valentine’s Day.”
Donors are encouraged to pre-book a slot by contacting Danica on 082 301 5292. The donor centre will be open from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
