The police on Monday arrested a taxi driver who was found offloading passengers on the M1 South and Riviera. The driver was found transporting passengers under the influence of alcohol.
Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) Chief David Tembe said on Twitter that the driver was above the legal limit.
A taxi driver was found off loading passengers at M1 South&Riviera, when confronted, the officer suspected that he was under the influence of alcohol

Other motorists on Twitter alerted the chief to monitor other highways as taxi drivers always offload passengers on them.
