Cremated bodies in abandoned boxes at Parkview Police Station
PARKVIEW – Police are appealing to the public to come and claim boxes with cremated bodies that they found abandoned in Emmarentia.
During one of their patrolling sessions, Parkview police officers found abandoned boxes at the Botanical Gardens in Emmarentia.
Upon inspection, the boxes turned out to be mini-coffins of cremated bodies.
On one box the details are as follows:
Johan Labuschagne born 6 August 1965 and died 17 September 2012.
Jacobus Lukas Martinus Labuschagne born 30 June 1942 and died 22 May 2001.
The boxes were found on 26 March last year and the police are asking anyone who knows the above-identified to report to the station.
