Donate stationery to children in need at Killarney Mall

KILLARNEY – Lend a helping hand to those in need through the Killarney Mall stationery drive

Killarney Mall encourages the community to get involved in their stationery drive in aid of Thembelenkosini Care Givers.

Thembelenkosini Care Givers is a registered non-profit organisation based in Senaoane, Soweto, with the mission to physically, emotionally, creatively and intellectually enhance the lives of children in their community.

Candice Perry of Killarney Mall said, “We understand the need for and value of education which is why we are collecting stationery for the Thembelenkosini Care Givers. It is our goal to collect as many stationery packs as possible for distribution amongst those children in need for them to have their own basic stationery set at the start of each year.”

Donation boxes have been placed throughout Killarney Mall. The community are encouraged to donate any stationery they can including pens, books, glue etc.

Perry added that the mall had already received a generous donation from Bostick. “We would not have been able to achieve our stationery target without their contribution.”

Killarney Mall also wishes to thank those who have already donated to the drive.

The drive will run until 7 February.

The handover of stationery will take place at Thembelenkosini Care Givers on 8 February from 10am to 1pm.
