HOUGHTON – Crowds gathered for the special occasion as community members celebrated the announcement


Joburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ) had a big announcement to make on Thursday, the official unveiling of the Heritage Foundation Blue Plaque and that The Wilds has been declared a Heritage Site.

Crowds gathered for the special occasion as community members celebrated the announcement.

The project to restore the park, led by Killarney resident James Delaney, sought to revive the park which was neglected for nearly two decades.

Visitors are encouraged to examine this map to plan their hikes.
