What to do today

JOBURG – Top things to do in Joburg today.

We have officially reached the end of 2019’s second week. This week we saw schools re-open, went back to work and are actively preparing for the forthcoming academic year.  It’s time for us to cool down, relax and try to live our best lives at these events in the city.

Check out our top things to do today:

13 January: Screenings of Five Fingers For Marseilles

Every year, The Bioscope begins its January programme with a selection of the best films of the previous year. Here’s a chance to catch Five Fingers for Marseilles, a great local film you might have missed. Tickets available on www.tickets.tixsa.co.za for R50.

13 January: Newtone Sundays

The Third Place Sundays return with their first edition of Newtone for this year at the alleyway off Quinn Street in Newtown. This Sunday they will welcome Craig Placid, an experienced selector that is not to be taken lightly. Prepped with his B-Sides, Craig Placid understands the tonality that complements the Sunday agenda. Entrance is free before 3 pm and R50 thereafter.
