Yellow bags temporarily replace blue recycling bags for Separation@Source

CRAIGHALL – Yellow bags are being distributed by the Dikala Group until mid-January.

Yellow bags are now being delivered to households on behalf of the Dikala Group for the Separation@Source project.

According to Ward 90 councillor Martin Williams, the Dikala Group ran out of the blue plastic bags and have replaced them with yellow ones until mid-January.

The mandatory Separation@Source project began last year encouraging residents to set aside glass, plastic, metal, paper and other recyclable items in order to reduce the quantity of waste sent to landfill sites.

Dikala Group has been supplying households in certain areas with blue plastic bags for some time now.
