Top students at Sacred Heart College

OBSERVATORY – The matrics at Sacred Heart College achieved incredible results in their exams while maintaining the school's 100 per cent pass rate.

 

The matriculants at Sacred Heart College came through with some impressive IEB exam results on 3 January.

The school maintained a 100 per cent pass rate alongside a 98 per cent Bachelor’s Degree pass and 67 distinctions.

A notable achievement was an average mathematics mark of 71.2 per cent.

The school’s highest achievers were Chiedza Makamanzi, Charvana Naidoo and Ziyaad Tayob who all achieved five distinctions with Ziyaad placing in the top 1 per cent in accounting.

Kyara-Plasket Govender, Thomas Alfred, Ruth Mccormick and Thidziambi Mufamadi all attained four distinctions. Thomas and Kyara both placed in the top one per cent nationally in maths literacy.

The spokesperson for Sacred Heart College Lynne Walker said, “We are delighted that our matrics have done so well and are confident that they have learned to see the world with a heart that knows no bounds and this heart will take them anywhere.”
