The Sandringham police have traced the family and identified a deceased 32-year-old woman found in Lombardy West.
The body was found in a field on the corner of Granville and Cambridge Road on 16 September. A spokesperson for the Sandringham Police Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo said that the police were able to identify the body and traced the family through fingerprints.
Mamabolo added that the police are still pleading with the local community to come forward with any information or witnesses to assist in the case.
