LYNDHURST – The Sandringham police are calling on the community to help find a missing Lyndhurst resident.

 

The Sandringham police are calling on the local community to assist in finding a 50-year-old man.

Spokesperson for the Sandringham Police Station, Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo, said the Lyndhurst resident Wisdom Nyirenda went missing on 27 October at 5.30am when he left his home on his way to Pretoria to pick up door frames.

Mamabolo said that Nyirenda was driving a white a Mazda 4×4 and was last seen in a white striped shirt and black jeans. He added, “The family does not have an address in Pretoria where he told them he was going.”

His vehicle has not yet been found.

Mamabolo said that Nyirenda’s cell phone has been off since 27 October. The Sandringham police are calling on community members who might have information that could assist in finding him, to contact investigating officer Detective Warrant Officer Phuti Manaka on 072 463 0854.
