Michael B Jordan to kick-off Creed II international tour in SA

JOBURG – Michael B Jordan to meet SA fans at the launch of Creed II.

Award-winning actor Michael B. Jordan will visit South Africa at the end of November to kick off his international publicity tour for Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures’ (MGM Pictures) and Warner Bros Pictures’ Creed II.

Jordan reprises the role of Adonis Creed in the continuation of the Rocky saga and sequel to the critically acclaimed and crowd-pleasing 2015 hit Creed, which took in more than $170 million at the worldwide box office. He also serves as an executive producer on the new film.

With a release date of 30 November and distributed by Empire Entertainment, Creed II sees Adonis balance his personal obligations and preparing for his next big fight with an opponent with ties to his family’s past. With the iconic Rocky Balboa by his side, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what’s worth fighting for, and discover that nothing’s more important than family – about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place

In Johannesburg, Jordan will meet with the press, together with his Creed II co-star Florian ‘Big Nasty’ Munteanu, who portrays Adonis’ fearsome opponent Viktor Drago, and director Steven Caple Jr. He is also expected to greet fans at a special première event.
