Five people injured in explosion in Bramley
BRAMLEY - Five people injured in explosion.
Five people were injured after an explosion at Eagle Ford dealership in Bramley earlier today (31 October).
According to Emer-G-Med, one person has been airlifted to hospital and two others are in critical condition.
According to reports the explosion was caused by an oxyacetylene torch. This was confirmed by Peter Steyn, one of the senior managers in a telephonic interview with the North Eastern Tribune.
Steyn said the cause of the explosion still remained unknown, however, an investigation is currently underway to determine it.
“We are still waiting for our safety officers to conduct the investigation on what actually caused the explosion,” he said.
