SANBS to host #thumamina blood drive

NORWOOD – The South African National Blood Service will host a Thuma Mina blood drive at Norwood Mall on 24 September.

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is calling on local residents to take part in their Thuma Mina blood drive on 24 September.

The blood drive is in line with president Cyril Ramaphosa’s proposed Thuma Mina campaign which calls on South African volunteers to help the country by assisting with service delivery and helping others.

The programme also runs a number of campaigns such as community clean-ups, establishing local gardens and assisting community meetings among other projects that are detailed in the Thuma Mina handbook.

The blood drive will take place at Norwood Mall on 24 September from 10am to 3pm.
