Sandringham police bust marijuana suspect

RIVER PARK – Sandringham police arrested a suspect for being in possession of and dealing in marijuana to the street value of R26 000.

A 47-year-old was busted by the Sandringham Police Station with R26 000 worth of marijuana in River Park.

Spokesperson for the station Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo said, ” Cluster first responder team under the command and leadership of Captain Lionel Chetty arrested a suspect for possession and dealing in dagga to the street value of R26 000.”

The arrest was made on 9 September and the suspect will appear in Johannesburg Magistrates Court soon.

Mamabolo added, “Well done to the team for taking the drug dealer and the drugs off the street to keep our communities safe.”
