Constitutional Court allows the private use of dagga

The Constitutional Court has upheld the Western Cape High Court ruling that the private use of dagga aka marijuana is legal.
According to EWN, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo made the ruling on Tuesday morning.
This means that the court has thus decriminalised the use and possession of dagga in private use by an adult. It also gives Parliament 24 months to change a section of the Medicine Controls Act.
