On 28 August, British Prime Minister Theresa May kicked off her tour of Africa in Cape Town where she committed to trade relations with Southern Africa following her country’s looming exit from the European Union and revealed her hopes for stronger connections with African nations.

May visited a high school in Gugulethu where she attempted to get down and join school children in dance before getting to the nitty gritty reason for her visit.
Her first visit to Africa as Prime Minister will also see her land in Kenya and Nigeria, making her the first British leader to visit sub-Saharan Africa since 2013. However, her dance moves made more news than this historic tour of Africa.

The thing I'm most disappointed in Theresa May is that she didn't do the worm, like I taught her. That's a week I'll never get back. #TheresaMay #TheresaMayDancing
