TRAFFIC ALERT: Fire breaks out in CBD, please avoid area
JOBURG - Motorists urged to avoid Cnr De Villiers and Rissik streets in Johannesburg.
The City of Joburg has warned motorists to avoid the corner of De Villiers and Rissik streets in Joburg inner city after a fire broke out at a block of flats.
Robert Mulaudzi, EMS spokesperson, confirmed that there had been no injuries and the fire had been contained. Metro police are currently on the scene, and all occupants have been taken to safety.
The cause of the fire is unknown and police are still investigating.
