ALERT: Taxis block Jan Smuts Avenue before Conrad Drive
CRAIGHALL – Traffic is being badly affected and motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
Motorists are warned of traffic delays and possible danger after taxis cause mayhem on Jan Smuts Avenue in Craighall Park.
Reports have surfaced about rocks and tyres strewn across a section of Jan Smuts Avenue approaching Conrad Drive.
Apparently, there was an altercation between two taxi drivers where one took the other’s keys away.
@EWNTraffic Taxi blocked road at cnr Jan Smuts and Conrad drive with bricks and a tire. Traffic backed up towards Hyde Park. JMPD on the scene.

Ward councillor 90 Martin Williams has stated that Metro police are on the scene.
