Missing man: Found safe
PARKMORE – Bertus Bauermeister's phone was last traced to Republic Road near William Nicol Drive.
The community has appealed for assistance in finding a 30-year-old man who was reported missing after he was last seen in the Parkmore area.
Bertus Bauermeister left his home in Wilgeheuwel on 13 August for an appointment in Randburg. At the time he was driving a silver BMW 320i and was wearing blue jeans, a blue jersey and grey shoes.
UPDATE: 8.30am
It has been confirmed by the BCI Security company and his wife that Bauermeister has been found safe. His vehicle was recovered on Republic Road.
The tracking system on his car showed that it was last seen on Jan Smuts Avenue in Hyde Park, however, his phone’s location was last seen on Republic Road near William Nicol Drive.
