#ICYMI: Bramley police warn community of armed robbery hotspot

BRAMELY – The Bramley Police have noticed a series of armed robberies on Corlett Drive by the on ramp and off ramp on the M1 highway.

 

The Bramley police are calling on the community to remain alert at the M1 highway on-ramp and off-ramp at Corlett Drive following a number of armed robberies.

The spokesperson for Bramley Police Station, Moses Maphakela, said armed robberies in the area involve a suspect targetting drivers with their windows open and pointing a gun at them.

He added that the perpetrators grab the driver’s belongings and flee the scene. Maphakela said the primary time of the robberies is between 5pm and 10pm.
