The residents of Tarentaal Village had some fun in the sun to commemorate the ending of their committee members’ tenure on 18 May.
The gathering was the perfect send-off for committee members Cecille Tamine, Maryna van Zyl and Jackie Murdoch who had completed their two-year-terms of office. The residents hosted the gathering to celebrate the trio’s last project – a recreation area with picnic tables and children’s play equipment.
Manager at Tarentaal Village Tammy Nielson said, “The picnic area will bring hours of enjoyment to both residents and their families.”
The committee also purchased benches for the area, all of which were happily occupied at the spit braai to celebrate the completion of the project.
