Two suspects were arrested on 5 June after they threatened a victim with a knife and took his belongings.
The victim alleged that he stopped to buy a cigarette at one of the hawkers at corner Jan Smuts and Argyle avenues in Craighall when four suspects emerged and threatened him with a knife.
They took his cash and other belongings. The police members responded quickly and two suspects were arrested. The two perpetrators are expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.
