PICS: Joburg Central police search for hijacking suspects

JOHANNESBURG – The Johannesburg Central Cluster appealis to the community with information regarding three suspect involved in a hijacking.

 

The Johannesburg Central Cluster calls on the community for information that will lead to the arrest of suspects wanted for hijacking.

Spokesperson for the Johannesburg Central Cluster, Captain Xoli Mbele said that on 10 March at 12pm, a 29-year old male parked a white Toyota Hilux bakkie company vehicle with the registration XLF 958 GP on Jeppe Street.

Three armed suspects approached the victim, entered his car and forced him to drive off. The supects dropped the victim off in Orlando.

Mbele added, “One of the suspects is light in complexion, tall with small brown eyes, between 45 and 50 years old. Another suspect is medium in height, slender, and approximately 35 to 40 years of age.

“Police are appealing to the community. Anyone with information of the whereabouts of the suspects can contact Johannesburg Central Cluster detectives officer, Sergeant van Rooyen on 073 366 2146.
