Bramely Park called to remain vigilant against house burglaries

BRAMLEY PARK – The community is urged be vigilant following three reported house burglaries in the area.

The Bramley police have arrested three people for a burglary in Bramley Park on 5 May.

The spokesperson for Bramely Police Station, Moses Maphakela, said the three accused are between the ages 30 and 35. He said a house on Maree Street was burgled.

Burglars entered the home through an open window and stole a number of appliances. The accused were soon arrested by police and appeared in the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court, with their last appearance on 9 May.

Maphakela said this is one of three cases of house burglaries in the area and called on the community to remain vigilant. He added that residents should make sure that all their windows and doors are locked to prevent this crime from occurring.
