Lombardy East resident makes it into the top 100 Mrs South Africa pageant

LOMBARDY EAST – I have gone through a lot of challenges in my life and I've won most of my battles – Precious Ratselane.

Precious Ratselane, a Lombardy East-based mother, has been announced as a Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa top 100 semi-finalist.

Ratselane was selected out of a record number of entries received by the organisation which hosts this prestigious and unique charity event.

Her journey began as a top 100 semi-finalist on 2 March where she was invited, along with the other beautiful, sophisticated and married women from all over South Africa, for the first-ever National Casting and Empowerment Workshop held at Emperors Palace, to help them prepare for the journey ahead.

Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa is a journey that has gained the reputation of a women-empowerment programme and prides itself on producing the very best in real, relatable and modern South African women.

The programme celebrates marriage and the essence of being a real woman said Ratselane. It was created for married women who would ordinarily not have such a platform to compete and be ambassadors for South Africa, on a global scale, she said.

The opportunities and platform that has been created for Mrs South Africa entrants are significant in every way and truly creates a ripple effect across our beautiful country, according to Ratselane.

Through the journey of Mrs South Africa, women find themselves again and learn that they are never too old to follow their dreams and become voices of change, she said.

It also assists in the journey of self-discovery, in turn, changing the world in the most amazing way, she said concluding that she is truly grateful for this opportunity.
