Police are hunting for a suspect who entered into a cottage used by Dlodlo’s daughter and stole jewellery, an iPad, watches and other valuables worth about R20 000. However, a security guard spotted him while he was trying to sneak out and he dropped the items and fled. All the valuables were recovered.
The incident occurred last September. “The suspect is still on the run and investigations are ongoing,” said Dlamini.
It is said to have been a surprise that the burglar managed to sneak into a heavily guarded home, enter the cottage and only get spotted as he was about to make his getaway with the loot.
