WATCH: Parklane Village combats racism

PARKTOWN – The Parklane Village complex unveiled a special sign to combat racism.

The Parklane Village in Parktown made a historic statement by installing a special sign to combat racism on 18 March.

Done in collaboration with Anti-Racism Network South Africa and the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, the residents of the village gathered for an unveiling of the sign. Chairman of the board of trustees Alie Areington said that the village has a long history of racism and placement of the sign is a step to show residents and visitors that any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.
