Flabba remembered in a new song

A new song is dedicated to slain rapper, Flabba.

Friday (16 March) marks the third anniversary of the passing of rapper, Nkululeko ‘Flabba’ Habedi.

To commemorate his passing, his fellow band members of Skwatta Kamp released a song in honour of him.

Speaking on the Fresh Breakfast radio show on Metro FM, fellow band member Slikour said there were initially two versions of the song, but they chose to release one that would speak to people in a universal language.

“This is a dedication to Flabba. To his family, friends and residents of Alexandra, Flabba put the flag up there and we will do our best to keep it up there,” he said.

There You Go is available for free download on Slikour’s website. “We decided to make it available for free because we wanted anyone who wants to celebrate Flabba’s life to do so.”
