Spokesperson for Norwood Police Station, Captain Elliot Tshivhase said, “The victim parked her vehicle outside her residence and began to unpack her boot. While she was still busy offloading, three suspects approached her, grabbed her gardener [who was assisting her] and ordered them [both] into the house.

“They then [allegedly] forced the two of them into the bathroom and tied them [up] with electricity cables before they searched the house.”

“They took her jewellery, two cellphones, ID, a television flat screen as well as the house and car keys. On their way out they then [allegedly] took her white Huyndai car and drove away with it.”

Tshivhase said the total value of the stolen items was about R250 000.
