Rosebank Police Station commander, Lieutenant Colonel Joyce Sithole wished residents a happy festive season and thanked them for their support throughout the year.
Sithole said, “Crime is still a challenge which we are doing our level best to combat. A special thanks goes to the security companies for their endless support and contribution in fighting crime.”
She also thanked residents for visiting the police station and reporting crime which allowed police officers to address the issues as they happen.
“Lastly I would like to thank the Rosebank Community Policing Forum for their endless support throughout the year. The forum does not only provide support to police, but also assists financially when necessary. This year the forum raised funds to repaint the police station and keep it well maintained.
“My wish and prayer for 2018 is to create a safe and secure environment for all in the Rosebank policing precinct.”
