Yeoville police officers make 29 arrests for different crimes

YEOVILLE – Impressive work from Yeoville police leads to 29 arrests.

 

Yeoville police made 29 arrests between 20 and 28 November for a number of crimes ranging from armed robbery to dagga possession.

The following arrests were made:

  • One for murder
  • Two for armed robbery
  • Six for assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm
  • Two for common assault
  • One for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Three for shoplifting
  • Six for dagga possession
  • One for possession of suspected stolen property
  • One for theft
  • Two for damage to property
  • Two for the selling alcohol without a licence
  • One for housebreaking and theft
  • One for the use of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
