Popular comedians host comedy night in aid of Sandton SPCA

PARKTOWN – Animal welfare, fun and laughter come together at a comedy evening in aid of the Sandton SPCA on 7 December.

 

The community is invited to laugh for a good cause at the festive comedy evening in aid of the Sandton SPCA on 7 December.

The evening, which takes place in the garden at Full Stop Cafe in Parktown, is hosted by Dead Beat Dad and headlines Kagiso Lediga and Ebenhaezer Dibakwane at the event. Other comedians starring on the night include Lucky du Plessis, Peter Wings, Cobus van Rensburg and Lloyd Niemand.

Lucky du Plessis will entertain comedy lovers at the comedy evening in aid of the Sandton SPCA on 7 December.

Sandton SPCA general manager Jaco Pieterse said the event serves as a fundraiser to sustain the SPCA’s operation.

“Our expenses per year are R6 500 000. We do as much fundraising as possible in order for us to continue with the good work we do in the prevention of cruelty to animals,” said Pieterse.

“It’s going to be a night filled with fun, loads of jokes and good food that can be ordered from the menu,” he added.

 

Details: The event runs from 8pm to 10pm. Tickets cost R50, with R25 being donated to the SPCA. To book for the event, contact Full Stop Cafe on 011 880 4649.
