The suspects took with them valuables including a cellphone, plasma TVs, a monitor as well as two boxes containing expensive jewellery.

Tshivhase said the victim was in the toilet when she heard her house’s intercom ring and went to check on her CCTV camera.

Suddenly, when the woman went to another room, one of the suspects had already entered the house and grabbed her.

The suspects then started to ransack the house and took the valuables to the car and drove off.

It is not clear if the suspects had any weapons on them and Tshivhase said the victim could not attest to that.

“She was not assaulted and she also did not suffer any injuries.”

He said a case of house robbery has been opened and the police have launched a manhunt.
