HIGHLANDS NORTH – The unknown shooter is still on the run.

Tshivhase alleged that patrons were drinking inside the pub when a fight broke out resulting in one person being injured.

“The victim was trying to stop the fight but suddenly a shot was fired but no one saw where the shot came from.

“It was later when they noticed that a victim, Leroy Selepe, had been shot with two bullets. He was shot in the left thigh and on his right leg. Our police, who were on patrol nearby, heard gun shots and went to investigate only to find Selepe lying on the floor and he was bleeding.”

Officers then phoned the ambulance but one of the patrons at the pub offered to take the victim to a nearby hospital.

“The victim was rushed to Edenvale Hospital where he was treated and discharged the following day.
