LYNDHURST – The residents of Thornhill Manor hosted an exceptional fete and family fun day on 7 October.

This year’s event was no different, with 40 outside stalls selling handcrafted wares and the village food stalls providing hamburgers, boerewors, tea and cake, pancakes, egg and bacon rolls, curry and rice and delicious German delicacies.

Deputy manager of the village, Jackie Scott said, “The residents worked very hard and without them the day would not have been so successful. The proceeds of the day are utilised for projects in the village.”
