Sandringham police arrested two alleged drug dealers in Rembrandt Park on 27 September.
Spokesperson for Sandringham Police Station, Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo said the arrests were a result of an operation executed by the station’s organised crime unit.
“After thorough investigation and observation around the house, the police entered the Rembrandt Park residence and arrested a 37-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman,” Mamabolo said.
He added that officers found various drugs including Mandrax and Methamphetamine to the value of about R425 000. The suspects were charged with possession and dealing of an illegal substance and appeared in Hillbrow Magistrates’ Court on 28 September.
