Craighall is one of the tranquil suburbs that make up the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. Within minutes from Sandton, Hyde Park and Rosebank, its location is ideal for home-owners.

Even though Craigahll is situated right between Jan Smuts and Beyers Naude, two of the biggest roads in the north, when driving through the suburb, there is not much that reminds you of the ever so noisy and crowded city. Lynn Baker, Pam Golding area specialist for some of the suburbs in the north of Johannesburg believes that the continued popularity of these thriving suburbs can, to a large degree, be attributed to the fact that they together offer something for everyone.

“A big draw card when it comes to buying in this area is that it offers a range of possible property options to suit every pocket and taste, from apartments and townhouses to large luxury freehold properties. There are also a number of impressive estates.”

There is a sense of community that exists across many of the suburbs in this area. Baker said these communities “are all well run and maintained by local authorities and have strong home owners associations.”

Craighall’s close proximity to key northern suburbs and establishments makes it very convenient for residents. It is also close to the M1, making it easy for residents to avoid the Joburg traffic. Craighall is a very ideal place for home-owners or those looking to invest in property in the area.
