According to Shervon Harrison from Urban Ocean, the arcade will play host to a variety of different retail and food outlets.

“We are really proud to say that we have local designers who will bring an eclectic vibe to this space. We are going for a high-end feel and we are trying to make it an experience for the working professionals in the area,” said Harrison.

Major, the owner of Major’s Street Skate Shop.

“We also have a bar called Urban Bar that will open in the next week or two.”

Future plans for the space include a skateboard park that will open on the second floor. The skate park will be run by another tenant of the arcade, Major from Major’s Street Skate Shop.

“I’ve been running for seven years on the street, but now I have my own shop here at the arcade. I’ve opened here because it is closer for the skaters in the city,” said Major.

Other stores in the arcade include a curry shop, chicken shop and a food hall which will sell everything from burgers to dim sum. Harrison said, “We really are trying to cater for everyone who would like to visit the venue.

“The arcade was supposed to open on 1 September but the opening has been pushed back to the middle of the month to make sure that all the retailers have enough time to prepare their stores.”
