Greenside High School children took part in the Hip-Hop Dance South Africa competition which hosted a wide range of performances from top schools around the country.
The dance troupe Shoutout-U represented the school. The dancers involved were Wami Natty, Bongi Ndumela, Thabang Motsha, Brighton Mushavela, and Anita and Marang Tladi. The event took place at the Walter Sisulu Hall in Randburg. Shoutout-U competed against a number of schools including Monument High, Ferndale High and Parktown Girls High. Greenside walked away with a silver medal.
