One of the City of Johannesburg’s Metro police officers is in the spotlight for all the right reasons.
The officer was filmed playing Luther Vandross’ Dance With My Father on piano, and he surprised his online audience even further when he started to sing along.
Clad in his Metro police uniform, the officer echoes the message that Metro police officers do not only issue traffic fines or enforce bylaws.
The City’s Metro police department does have a ceremonial band, which consists of 30 members playing various wind and percussion instruments. This band performs at State functions or wherever the City needs them to.
