Bramley View man sentenced to 51 years and six months behind bars after murdering a motorist

SANDRINGHAM – Good police work puts suspect behind bars for 51 years and six months.

 

Sandringham Police Station has confirmed that a man was convicted and sentenced by Hillbrow Magistrates’ Court to 51 years and six months in prison for committing murder.

The 27-year-old man from Bramley View was arrested by police in August last year after hijacking and murdering a motorist in Sandringham.

He was also convicted on other charges including the possession of an unlicensed firearm, robbery, possession of ammunition, pointing a firearm and assault.

Detective Warrant officers Matsobane Galane and Phuti Manaka led the investigation and the conviction came after months of hard work and investigation.
