Affordable golf at Parkview Golf Club

PARKVIEW – The club hopes to end people's perception that golf can be elitist and costly.

Parkview Golf Club is continuing its efforts to attract new members by offering golfers unlimited golf at inexpensive monthly fees.

The club hopes to end people’s perception that golf can be elitist and costly. The initiative is aimed at men, women and youngsters.

“The golfing fraternity recognises Parkview as a friendly, welcoming club and our growing number of younger members is establishing us as a vibrant entity able to combine golf at a top-class course with fun and camaraderie in the clubhouse,” said the club’s acting golf director Melissa Eaton.

She added that during the club’s centenary celebrations last year, the club strengthened its relationships with local residents at various non-golfing events and the club is building that rapport to encourage involvement in the sport.

“Obviously, by offering unlimited golf in sensible fee packages and attracting more members to play more golf we can ensure that Parkview Golf Club remains a sustainable, valuable asset in the local community,” said Eaton.

Members and their guests can enjoy golf six days a week, competitions, regular major tournaments, special holiday events and eight holes on Sunday afternoons. In addition, there is league golf for men, women and juniors; women’s clinics on Friday mornings and children’s clinics.
